I'd agree that it didn't look flagrant...but neither do half the calls that end up flagrant 1's. Once again the problem is consistency.

Where else have you ever heard of a player suffering a concussion from a "basketball move"?

Come on indeed. Miller won't have those issues back home in the Big East or ACC.

A lot more crews let players play back there. They don't call it one way for Miller's team and another way for his opponents.

If, I pray not when, he burns out someday from fighting this consistent incompetency of conference game officiating, it'll happen.

The Pac-12 needs Miller much more than Miller needs the Pac-12, no matter what Larry Scott thinks.

Ristic doesn't make the trip after being hospitalized for 2 days with a bacterial infection.
Did he hook up with an ASsU coed after the loss? ;)

but seriously, here's hoping he gets better quick.

It's actually pretty tough to be two players down. No viable backup at point guard and at center.

only had what 9 scholarship players available tonight? victor transferred, pjc recovering, ristic sick. pretty impressive to bounce back and get a 24 point road win in a place we've struggled for over a decade then. hopefully ristic and pjc are back and healthy for usc and ucla next weekend and we'll be back to pretty much full strength.
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.

i'll just go with fuck asu.

have we heard if PJC is officially out for the Wash St. game? Him making the trip kind of had me hopeful he might get into at least the wsu game.

I doubt someone in Phoenix would have inside knowledge like that.

Yep, especially with FERPA and HIPAA rules being so strict.

.....and let's just cross our fingers that RHJ didn't just pull his groin in meaningless time at the end of a blowout

Craig Victor is a selfish selfish player.

Have fun hanging with Grant Jarrett on the "what could've been" list.

As long as it was just a nut punch and not a groin pull then it's ok.

That's good to hear. The guys on radio didn't mention getting hit there, said it kind of looked like a groin thing as he reached for it after coming down awkwardly.

If it's just a nut punch, he's definitely good to go for the next game

Jackson-Cartwright, Ristic cleared to practice

41 minutes ago • Bruce Pascoe Arizona Daily Star

Arizona Wildcats backup point guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright has been cleared for his first full-contact practice today, though it isn’t certain he will play Thursday against USC.

UA coach Sean Miller said today that both Jackson-Cartwright and center Dusan Ristic have been cleared to practice starting today, the first day UA has practiced since its win at Washington State on Sunday.

While Jackson-Cartwright has been out since suffering a concussion on Jan. 28 against Oregon, Ristic contracted a bacterial infection in his throat and missed the Wildcats’ trip to Washington last weekend.

We’ll see how (Jackson-Cartwright) does moving toward the weekend,” Miller said. “Dusan’s feeling much, much better.”

Ristic lost 10 pounds and was hospitalized for two days last week, but Miller said not having to travel to Washington allowed him to recover quicker.

"He’s been able to get both feet on the ground," Miller said.

Miller also said both Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and T.J. McConnell are fine after both appeared to be banged up during Sunday's telecast of the WSU-UA game.

"I don’t even know," Miller said. "People told me Rondae got hurt. I don’t remember."
