Correct and DST starts on Sunday so Arizona time will mirror pacific time Sunday until Nov first even though the pet peeve of mine is when people say Arizona switches time zones. Mountain Standard Time (AZ every day of the year) is the same as Pacific Daylight Time.

At the moment #7 ASU wins the tiebreaker against #8 Cal, while #9 Rado tops #10 Wazzu.

Pac-12 Tiebreaker Rules

1. Two-team tie
a. Results of head-to-head competition during the regular season.
b. Each team’s record vs. the team occupying the highest position in the final regular standings, and then continuing down through the standings until one team gains an advantage.
When arriving at another group of tied teams while comparing records, use each team’s record against the collective tied teams as a group (prior to that group’s own tie-breaking procedure), rather than the performance against individual tied teams.
c. Won-lost percentage against all Division I opponents. d. Coin toss conducted by the Commissioner or designee.

2. Multiple-team tie
a. Results of collective head-to-head competition during the regular season among the tied teams.
b. If more than two teams are still tied, each of the tied team’s record vs. the team occupying the highest position in the final regular season standings, and then continuing down through the standings until one team gains an advantage.

When arriving at another group of tied teams while comparing records, use each team’s record against the collective tied teams as a group (prior to that group’s own tie-breaking procedure), rather than the performance against individual tied teams.
If at any point the multiple-team tie is reduced to two teams, the two-team tie-breaking procedure will be applied.

c. Won-lost percentage against all Division I opponents.
d. Coin toss conducted by the Commissioner or designee.
According to the Pac 12, cal is the 7 seed, Asu the 8, Colorado the 9 and wsu the 10

Awesome. We'll try to make it before the QF game (but our plane arrives at about 9:50 am so may not make it). If we make the Semis, we will be there an hour or more before tip.

On a related note, doing Jaeger shots late at night with college age kids, after you've had a bunch of beer, when you're in your mid-30's? Baaaaaaaad idea.

yeah I'm driving in right before Thursday's game. Other people flying in...I'm guessing I'll need a sip before that game, but I'll be up since 4:30 or so, so might not wanna fall asleep.

I am getting pretty pumped for Vegas.

Only gonna be there for the Semis this year? Too bad. But you're right, it's pretty much a "don't miss unless there's a family crisis" type event now.

And SHB - yes, we are beyond overdue to win this damn thing.

We were not allowed to bring a water bottle in with a cap for the top. The tops of the water's were confiscated. When we asked why, we were told cause the "caps could be thrown and potentially hurt someone".

I literally started laughing in her face. "A cap, what about me throwing the whole bottle?" I said. She was not amused.
