I’m watching ISU and OU play. Watching OU’s slow and white AF big man. The Cats would destroy this fool.

One can dream.

Looking at images from the WBB game yesterday, saw a lot of single layer and cloth masks, which obviously are not surgical grade.

This is the same guy (Robbins) I saw on tv during women's tournament with his mask below his nose constantly.

On a positive note, KU and Puke both lost today.

Wow. Just wow.

That article made it sound like we were trying to force them into a game.

I'm not convinced that KU or Duke is Final Four bound. Of the teams currently in the top 15, I feel most confident putting Baylor and Gonzaga there, followed by AZ and Auburn. Still don't think USC has proven they deserve their ranking. Their win over SDSU is aging well, but aside from that, cupcake city. Let's see how they do vs. UCLA and AZ.

From the article "The reality of the situation is that USC is traveling to the Bay Area to play Cal on Thursday. Asking USC to play Arizona on Saturday in a different location is a logistical nightmare." Must be that USC education. You are already traveling home idiot and it follows the normal Thurs/Sat for games. The only difference is you would be playing at HOME instead of Stanford.

Don't forget that we make every team fly to Boulder and then Salt Lake (or vice versa) to play on the same turnaround.

Does UCLA & USC basketball make that much more money for the conference than UA? I hope we don't get fucked over with this strategy the Pac-12 is pursuing. I mean USC basketball has been a joke historically

Some things never change. Brown, Matthews and Fuller went off for 55 points against us. So far, against Buffy they total 17 nearly 3/4 of the way through the game.

Brutal, although I think it's not so bad now with chartering. Long ass flight though.

Its all about TV revenue and money. And as long as cash is king its difficult to see where divorcing the CA schools makes sense economically.

Now if the ban football movement in CA ever gains traction then we should drop the PAC12 and run. The only problem is run to what.

I see 2 options:

A large 12 school Southwest/MWC conference or an East/West 16 team conference similar to the SEC.

The 12 team conference might look like: UA/asu/Utah/BYU/TTech/Houston/TCU/Baylor/OSU/Colorado/Kansas/KState

A 16 school conference might add Iowa State/Colorado State/New Mexico/Wyoming Or Boise State

I doubt either of those options would generate more TV revenue than our existing arrangement.

Now #6 in AP.

I'd like to take this opportunity to acknowledge anyone who correctly predicted AZ to be ranked this high in mid-January, in Lloyd's first season. It's pretty mind-blowing, imo.

I hear you, but I also think we’re better than USC and get our first two games since the lay off at McKale.

Trojans are not a top 10 team, imo. Maybe top 15.

By the way, our win @Illinois is aging like fine wine.

Exactly. In fairness, winning on the road in conference is always hard, regardless of the opponent. And Stanford isn't terrible. But USC, imo, was exposed tonight. If they're still ranked in the top 15 in late February, I'll be very surprised.

So lame, the game allegedly couldn't happen earlier because they wanted exposure so they reschedule an 11 PM EST game on a Tuesday? Seems to me like Tommy let them walk all over him agreeing to a Tuesday game in LA after a road trip to the Bay concluding on Sunday.

We really just need a split with ucla. Doesn't matter if we beat them at their place or ours. Losing to them twice probably means a 3 seed is our ceiling.
