TheN the conference tourney which could be three games in three nights. Basically 13 games in 30 days or a game every other day. Not even the NBA does that. The PAC will wear down all its teams setting up a dismal run in the tournament. Well done conference

Those two should get heavy minutes vs bottom barrel teams like Or St, Utah and Cal. Starters shouldn't even play more than like 25 mins.

I don't want to see the starters play at all the final game vs Cal at home. Maybe only the first 10 mins or so.

Yeah, gotta avoid tired legs injuries.

I remember when I was young and a swimmer and could just run like crazy forever and never get tired and not be sore the next day. It was great.

Hope they are in that kind of shape. Gonna be a tough stretch.

Pelle Larsson is turning into an incredible player too. He's hitting side step 3s and 3s in motion, attacking the basket and playing incredible defense.

Both of these guys have been getting better and better and have shown the most improvement.

I think Terry is honestly the heart/engine of this team.

Went on a 90-65 run after being down 14-1, I'd say that's an ass kicking.

Laughed hard at the too small / little brother response from AT. I think they were pissed at the bullshit foul by Boayke on Pelle, just a dirty play.

Seeing when the USC game is scheduled I would either- 1. Play the subs against USC and give the rotation a break, making it a meaningless game for both teams, or 2. Play the entire team during the quarterfinals of the Pac-12 tourney, not trying to win so the team can get some rest before the bigger tourney.

Utah/Colorado trip is before USC. NorCal teams are after USC. Lloyd should honestly play the bench as much as possible against Utah and Cal who are absolutely dreadful. Go all out @ USC, try to put away Colorado on the road and Stanford at home early to get some more rest.

The Utah-Colorado trip is always tough physically no matter how good those teams are. Having to turn around and face USC just sucks.

We can easily be 1-2 after that trip to be honest as we have the biggest bullseye on us right now.

Who is the 9th man to rotate? Bal? We could really use Aiken Jr, I assume he is not playing because he may be eligible to transfer again? My theory is that he is upset that Ballo subsumed his role as the main bench big

This reschedule is straight garbage for Arizona. Flying to Utah and Colorado to play at altitude and then having to head to LA to play a tough USC team is going to be a real task mentally and physically. Hopefully we learned from these last couple of quick turnaround sets of games.

I’ve been waiting for the tech on Dalen for about 4-5 games now. It happened. Not a huge deal in this game but he needs to watch himself.

Love the passion, but it’s the plays not the talk that matter.

Tubelis with the Timme “small” move is weak too. Just dominate and never give them an edge.

I’m much more ok with it against shit programs like asu, but don’t carry that away from their dump of an arena.

I'm already chalking up the USC game as a loss, it's just too easily set up that way. If they somehow pull out a win then we're winning the whole god damn thing.

That asu beat down somehow dropped us in Kenpom from #2 to #3 and the adjusted defense from #5 to #8. Offense however went from #13 to #11.

I'm guessing that late garbage points under 5 minutes (probably also the first 5 minutes) hurt us ultimately there

You can’t give up nearly 80 points and not have it adversely affect your defensive metrics.

Yes, as long as you're top 20 in both metrics you're basically a serious national championship contender unless you're UCONN, whom collected all the infinity stones, and metrics didn't matter any more.

There was maybe 28 mins of good defense last night. The other 12 was hot shit that would kill most teams on the road.

The jizzfest from the arc by asu was something to see, and when it crusted over and died, it was interesting to see as well.

ASSU hit 13 3's. A few of them were step back's with a hand in their face.

Other things I liked:

- We had 6 players in double figures. Nice distribution of the rock.
- Ballo and Pelle off the bench were aweseome. Ballo with 13/10/1 block. Pelle with 14 points, 2 reb/2asst/2 stls
- Outrebounded the scummies 48-26. We controlled the boards.

20 TO's is still too many. It's been a trend so need to cut down on that somehow.

I would add "to a team that's a complete dumpster fire." Kenpom factors in opponent strength and ASU is not strong.

This is the stat that most persistently worries me. We benefit a ton when TO's are under control, but they're just stubbornly high.

Against ASU it doesn't matter, but against a good team like UCLA, it compounds shots missing. So when we shoot poorly, we don't break 60.

Illinois choked last time vs Purdue at home, they play them again tonight for the big ten conference championship essentially. If they lose to Purdue again, they're done even if they end up with the same amount of losses
