Dylan Smith's Shorts

Post by billk78 »

They are just way too big. I don't know how he runs around with them falling down all game. I truly believe this is a major reason we went 0-3 in the Bahamas. We need to replace the teams wardrobe director and if they still can't get it fixed Sean Miller needs to go. Just horrible to watch. Maybe 97 cats can give some insight into whether they can resize him.

Too many kids wearing short shorts today.

Image

Jalen Rose is rolling over in his grave when DJ Wilson wears those.

If anything is triggering this uniform wise, it's the Liberace gold and/or gradient.

Have a find a balance. I can't imagine the ones on that Michigan player allow for much movement. But at the same time, you go too big and you're swimming in them and falling over like Dylan.

Anything but those horrible ASU Wannabe Unis! Seriously, the person who approved those needs to be fired, beat up, shot, resuscitated....then hanged. Overkill?

Trends always resurface... He's ahead of the curve. Someone call Briggs and get him some smaller shorts.

Culottes! Tres magnifique! Is Trier wearing those too, because he continues to trip over something.

I'd settle for burning the jerseys with gold (bronze? copper?) numbers. I know, mustn't upset the gear companies. They selflessly do so much for the sport.

If you grew up on the Fab Five and Arky's teams where Alex Dillard and Corey Beck had their calves fully covered, it colors your perspective.

My old man rant is entirely about the uniform design. Gradient sucks. Somehow the only gradient free uniforms we have have the gold. It's like we took design tips from Trinidad James and Goldmember. Those uniforms should come with a disco ball.

I'm more worried about Smith's shot selection and passing than I am his shorts.

Last night Brigger said he likes the baggy shorts. He tried giving him smaller ones but Smith didn't want them

Fat people rejoice everyone when baggy shorts and pants come back. Tight shorts and pants suck for fat people, me included.

I complained about culottes years ago. On this board. Or rather the old one. I could swear that some of the folk complaining about them here and now shouted me down.

XL and 2XL were always the first two sizes gone when I played. Didn't matter what age you were or how big you were.

I'm only 24, but I remember from like 10-16, my generation, me included, wouldn't wear shorts that would show any part of our knees. Now with Chubbies and Lulu it's like the shorter the better.

Rawle's decision to wear short shorts should help offset the length of Smith's shorts.

These things usually average out.

Working on a warm weather college campus, have to say I do love the trend of longer shorts on men, and very short shorts on the women here.

Do you have the red with copper numbers, or just the white with copper numbers?
Just curious.
I don't mind the colors, I just think the design needs improvement.

The copper is representing the state.

I also think they should be special occasion only. Like playing with gcu against two non Arizona schools makes sense to wear copper. Random lbsu game, not so much.
