I don't see a thread entirely on HV, and so, here it is.

I know he's had an injury this season, but is there any further update on his status? Was really looking forward to seeing him contribute this year.

Mixed with the quick development of Krivas, I don't think we will be seeing much if any of Henri this year

I don't know anything, just speculation, but when the golf cart elbow injury happened October 30th, they said 4-6 weeks.

Not sure he is quick enough to be a stretch 4, so that would make him 3rd string at the 5 next season after Krivas and Anderson even if he does appear this season on the 3rd team.

Just don't expect to see him again in an Arizona uniform.

And presumably stick around in Tucson, or is he gonzo?

You spend a lot of energy worrying about the future!

Not worried. Just making conversation.

Ballo ain't going pro at this rate so we have five 7 footers for 2024. Veesar leaving seems likely which sucks

I thought Ballo was out of eligibility.

That's how I read it. This is his 3rd year at Arizona

Can Ballo improve by sticking around one more year though? Is he all of a sudden going to learn a little bit of touch around the rim and the free throw line? Or if he's at his ceiling, would it be best for him to go play in Europe?

Keshad is the only player with no eligibility left after this season

Ballo can definitely play pro ball somewhere next season if that’s what he wants. Not NBA, of course, but somewhere.

Think he was only there for 1 season.

Ballo never seemed to have recovered from his mystery illness last season. Might not even start next season, or maybe later this season.

Thought he redshirted as a freshman at GU in 2019/20. This is his 4th season of playing, but that Covid season does not count.

How did a thread about Henri Veesaar become a thread about Ballo?

Been wondering that too.
