Anderson is a 6-1, 235, Sophomore defensive end/linebacker from Moreno Valley, CA. Ok, did anyone know that we had a true Freshman walk-on who played in 2 games last year? I certainly didn't. Anderson played against both USC and Oregon St., but did not record any tackles or other stats. Hopefully, this year he can play in a victory and be in on a tackle.
It doesn't speak highly of the defensive depth that we needed to play a true Freshman walk-on, but good on Anderson for being ready to go. Also, shoutout to Newportcat - He noted last August that Anderson had a good sparq score and came from a great football program and that he would be a walk-on to watch.
511 yards rushing was last year's high for a game. If you didn't know it came against AssU and we didn't attempt a pass in the second half of the game, you haven't been paying attention.
