Gardner is a 6-3, 292 (+15 from 2017), redshirt Freshman from Queens Creek, AZ. A preferred walk-on last year, Gardner was team captain and honorable mention All-State as a Senior as well as 2 time All-Academic team. He is not likely to compete for a starting role, but he adds much needed depth at a position that has been too lightly recruited.
