Hayes is a 6-0, 191, redshirt Sophomore safety. He played in 11 games with 7 starts at free safety as a true Freshman making 38 tackles (2.5 for loss). Unfortunately, Hayes missed last year with a shoulder injury. Now healthy, he should be a big part of the safety rotation in one of our deepest position groups.
4021 yards rushing by the Wildcats last year led the conference and was 3rd in the nation behind Army and Navy.
