Owens is a former linebacker from Clay, AL, and the University of Alabama. He played at the other A school from 2011 to 2014 and was on 2 national championship teams. He joined the Alabama S&C staff right after graduation (Kinesiology and Exercise Science degree) and has been part of 3 national championship teams as a staff member. This will be his first year as the Director of a S&C program, but he certainly has experience seeing it done at the highest level. Probably not coincidently, our U of A is currently redoing the entire football weight room. Let's just hope they get the right A on the new equipment.
