We have one more open day so it is time to talk about the last position group - the quarterbacks. We have 6 quarterbacks on the roster for camp; the three starters from last year, the two talented newcomers, and one walk-on. Here is my rankings for what it is worth:
Jayden De Laura - The day 1 starter. He has the most Pac-12 starts, he was last year's conference Freshman of the Year, and Coach Fisch has said he will be running with the 1's during camp.
Noah Fifita - He has the strongest arm and is quickly becoming the back-up QB. If he had to start we could still run the whole offense and I would be excited to see what he could do.
Jordan McCloud - A solid number 3.
Gunner Cruz and Will Plummer - They signaled in the plays from the sideline during the scrimmage. They seem to be really good at doing that.
Cole Tannenbaum - Our one non-scholarship quarterback.
