Fernandez is a 6-4, 280, Sophomore defensive lineman from San Pedro, CA. He did not see any action last year. Fernandez played both tight end and defensive end in high school with 40 catches for 551 and 7 TDs as well as 55 tackles, 12 tackles for loss, and 10 sacks in 24 games. Hopefully a year in the program will put him in a position to contribute this year because we need quality depth.
