Tapley is a 6-4, 205, Freshman tight end from Desert Mountain HS, Scottsdale, AZ. Last year he had 41 catches for 604 yards and 9 TDs. Tapley was originally committed to the school up north, but switched to Arizona after we beat Colorado. On signing day he was listed as a wide receiver, but is listed now as a tight end which means he will need to add some weight before he sees the field.
In conference games last year Arizona and Washington led the league by converting 80% of their fourth down conversions. Both were 8 for 10.
