I would play two QBs Saturday (Gunner and Jordan) and then whoever does best Saturday is the guy the rest of the year

But that’s what he did last week against NAU except for that’s drive.

I mean, it's a nice goal, but the gap between our goals and our reality is the pressing issue.

You mean “ whichever one lives will be QB the rest of the year”

Not sure if my liver can take the level of drinking that this buttfucking is going to require to make it watchable.

They have class, and will put in the walk-ons end of the 3rd quarter, unlike ASU.

OK, but that still might not make enough difference unless they loan us an OL and score for us just to be gracious hosts.

Have we ever lost by triple digits (before tonight)?

How about half the team starts violently coughing now. We claim COVID, forfeit, and get home early. Probably the best plan to keep this game close.

Poor play calling strikes again. Running well between the tackles, so let's call a jet sweep to the short side for -1, then throw an int on the next play! WTF?

Some positives heading into the bye. McCloud probably should have been starting from the start but you can’t blame the coach if McCloud throws 5 picks in practice.

I'm back on board with this team. They showed alot of heart tonight.

McCloud can win some games for us. Please keep him as our starter.

Oregon wants to make the playoffs and running up the score is part of the game if you want to get in

Fisch's stated that McCloud will remain the starter the rest of the season.

Personally I think the team played well.

Offensive line was pretty good. Is Fears finally figuring it out?

Defensive line was good. Jalen Harris played like a legit NFL prospect. And our guys got a safety!

DBs missed a few tackles but played well.

Don't remember any dropped passes.

Some real bonehead play calls though. The announcers were scratching their heads over the repeated jet sweeps to the short side.

And I think McCloud can get it done.

-Three times they got outside the gameplan in the second half, trouble ensued. Trying to bite off too much in the red zone? McKinley makes an NFL play on the turnover. The ensuing kickoff- not planting Wiley at the 5. Second and seven- rollout with a post between the safeties- a staggered blitz blew that up. This also happened in the BYU game. Can't force big plays- thats where Gunners costly INT occurred.

-I'll say this. The culture of the team appears to be really healthy. That speaks volumes to me. There are going to be some wins this season now that the right kid is playing QB.

-Love that Boobie Curry is playing to his potential. Having a pro sized wideout goes a LONG way.

-Wish we had more years of Diallo, Hebert, and Hayward. Three guys who are difference makers for this team.

-Jordan is the guy, but keep it between the mustard and the mayo. He got here in August from USF, who I'm pretty sure runs an offense that looks just a little different than what we saw.

-Love huddling. Team needs to communicate playcalls more efficiently, but bleeding the clock keeps our defense fresh- we have NO depth behind Rutherford, Roland-Wallace, Harris, or Christian Young.

-More Jalen John. Hes 220 LBs and smooth out of the backfield.

-Not for nothing, I went to 2 high schools. At my first, we ran this offense. My second, a dumbass Wing-T. I say that to say, I miss the waggle play. Good to see it back.

New motto. No longer "It's Personal". Now it's "Arizona - we didn't get totally embarrassed".

This what baffles me. BYU and now Oregon, lots of people thought this.

SDSU and NAU, the complete opposite.

BYU was first game, and nobody knew what to expect. When we kept it close, the kids started believing. The kids might have believed too much against SDSU, because that game was over before the end of the first quarter. NAU? Can't explain it. With Oregon, I think the Ducks only bought their C game and after a quick, 10-0 lead, let their foot off the gas. We fought, and once it was a 1-score game in the 4th, we started believing again. Ups and downs of a season, I guess.

My only issue is what will happen if the team keeps losing. Will it continue to fight when games are close? Or will they just expect to lose and allow it to become a self-fulfilling prophesy? Losing, after all, is a disease.
