His brother has been hinting about a story involving local high school athletes, not UofA.

I don't subscribe to the 247 VIP posts, but the doom and gloom sounds a lot like a current recruit should be causing us all to lose some sleep.

I don't subscribe either but Allis said that there was an altercation that involved "a UA player".

Edit: heard that Cam Denson and another person jumped someone. Hope that's not true.

It's been quite a while since the rumor got floated. Usually names and details are not only leaked but confirmed by now.

TUCSON, Ariz. -- A University of Arizona assistant track coach arrested for allegedly threatening a student-athlete with a box cutter has resigned.

School officials said Craig Carter's resignation was effective Wednesday.

Carter pleaded not guilty at his arraignment on charges of stalking, interfering with an educational institution and two counts of domestic violence aggravated assault.

Carter, 47, coached throwing sports for the Wildcats' track squad.

Court records show Carter had been in a relationship with an unidentified track athlete for the past 2½ years.

He was arrested May 1 for allegedly threatening the woman with a box cutter while choking her and trying to drag her out of a classroom before she fled from his grasp.

It was reported a few weeks ago. I think the incident was a couple months back.
