I hope your predictions are right, but I have to disagree with the days left. I count 102 days until the Wildcats first game - 4 days until Saturday and 14 weeks (98 days) until the game.

Countdown starts this Friday!

100 days until college football kicks off and 102 until the Cats do. I see some optimism from the OP....oh boy. :roll:

Can't wait and as big of a homer as I am I can't see us winning 10 games. I think we get 8 wins and 5 in conference. If we can stay healthy we might pick up a 9th win.

As for the two 1000 yard rushers, I just don't see that until we have a QB committed to the run game. Anu is not that guy. I do think we should have a 1000 year receiving guy every year given our offense and as for defense, who knows. Just be aggressive please

10 is possible if they catch some breaks. If the offense stays healthy and the defense steps their game up to 70-80 in the nation, and the ball bounces the right way in a couple of games, they could win ten. Recall in 2012 that they were two plays away from winning nine with a patchwork roster, and the following year they lost three games by a single score. In 2014 those breaks went their way (the Hill Mary, UW making a stupid decision to run the ball.) Maybe they'll catch some of those breaks this year. Hope springs eternal.

Were anywhere from a 4 to 9 win team this year. All depends on if we get bad injury luck again and of the defense improves at all. In thinking we're 7-5

Yep, I agree, but I'm thinking 9 wins is pretty unlikely and 7 wins is mostly likely. 7 wins probably means we go 4-4 or 3-5 in conference . Damn, I'm getting tired of thinking NEXT year will be our year instead of THIS year.

It's just that 5 game stretch to open Pac 12 play for us.

Washington
@UCLA
@Utah
USC
Stanford

If we win 9, we have to go like 3-2 or better in those games.

If I had to pick three wins from that list I'd say Utah (RichRod owns them so far), USC (new coach, new QB, but still loaded, could be the yearly upset) and Stanford (lot of roster turnover, still have McCaffrey, though.) Arizona hasn't lost to the Huskies in Tucson since 2006 if I remember right, but UW could be downright scary this year and next.

Javier Morales and All Sports Tucson have started their annual countdown. This year they will be counting down the top 100 individual records for Arizona football. First up: No. 100 Eddie Wolgast — Career punt return average of 14.95 yards, 1945-50.
