Green is a 5'10", 207, redshirt Freshman, walk-on safety from Sabino HS, Tucson, AZ. A 3-sport athlete also playing basketball and running track in high school he was an all-state selection in football. As a senior he had 1481 all purpose yards, 16 TDs, 4 interceptions playing receiver, DB, and return man. He joined the team at the start of camp last year and has been good enough to stay on the roster. Here is a link to his hudl tape from his senior year which proves he was faster and stronger than most of his opponents.
46 is the Arizona record for the most turnovers recovered in a season. The 1954 Wildcats recovered 20 interceptions, 24 fumbles, and 2 blocked kicks.
