9 Tony Ellison

Ellison is a 5'11", 188, redshirt Sophomore receiver from Granite Bay, CA. He played in every game last year primarily on special teams and some work as a reserve receiver. He only caught 1 pass on the year (for 13 yards against Stanford), but had 4 tackles on kickoff coverage and 1 on punt coverage. Ellison was also named a PAC-12 All-Academic honorable mention last year.
Since he arrived, we have been teased that Ellison runs great routes and has tremendous hands. He just hasn't gotten a chance to show his talents on the field. He should be part of the 2 deep and hopefully this is the year Ellison's strong showing in practice translates to live games.
