Thomas is a 6-1, 281, redshirt Sophomore from Mountain View High School, Tucson, AZ. He was certainly not on the roster last summer, but he could have been added during the season and I don't remember. Regardless, Thomas has not seen the field yet as a Wildcat.
His Senior year in high school, Thomas had 21 tackles in 8 games with 4 sacks. Here is a link to his hudl video. The first hurdle for Thomas will be staying on the roster once it is limited for camp after that he will have to see if he can play himself into the rotation.
