The Wildcats couldn’t score (24.8 ppg, 100th in the FBS)

The Wildcats were last in the Pac-12 in scoring last year

Pretty awful with that schedule, can't keep both the offense and defense out of triple digit rankings?

Defense has been there a long time, but unreal about the offense, even with injuries to the 2 RBs.

Well that all depend. Can RR get his offense back on track. How much improve will the defense be in year 2 with Yates. Beside We should be fine.

I actually don't see any improvement on defense. Losing your top 5 LBs has to hurt with an undersized DL.

Only improved Cats will see on defense is if the offense can hold onto the ball for extended drives so the defense can stay off the field.

With Wilson and Taylor back, that has to help, even if the Cats still can't throw the ball.

Just the Navy triple option.

Hope springs eternal in the off season!!

I, due to all of my kids activities, only made it to one game last year. I went to the Fuskies game. Until JJ went down we were moving the ball at will against the best D in the conference. With some small improvement of Dawk's passing to open up the ground game, I'm telling ya' this running game will be very effective and open up the passing game more. I'm thinking Matt Scott-Deem year effective - I have reason to hope.

Part of being a fan is being fanatical, so color me fanatical. I'm excited for the season to begin and am looking forward to seeing some Wildcat football. Anyone who isn't can fuck off IMHO.

The D wont improve because of the 5 LB we lost? Well that up to Coach Boone to coach our Laden Freshmen LB.

As for the Offense, That all depend who starting at QB, Wilson and Taylor remain healthy enough, Who going to step up at WR.

This is maybe the least impressive roster on defense that I've seen in my 35 years of following Arizona football. Let's all hope that we find a few Scoobys in there because one wouldn't be enough.

Not really a rebuilding year if RichRod isn't bringing anyone to rebuild with.

You can't rebuild when you have freshmen playing that would never see the field at Oregon State. That's called bad recruiting and player development.....not bad depth.

Can you win the Heisman playing in only 4 1/2 games?

Looked up if any player from a losing team ever won it to satisfy my curiosity.

Paul Hornung was the only player to win the Heisman Trophy as a player for a losing team. He took the award at Notre Dame 1956, when the Irish finished a dismal 2–8 on the year.

Hornung rushed for 420 yards and passed for 917 that year.

That's probably a good over/under on Wilson's total. Hopefully Taylor isn't as injury prone.

I think it is going to be one rough year with the addition of end of the year excitement (change of the guard). I have no trust into the QBs running a successful offense and fully expect Lil R to play. Sure defense can improve but it would be difficult to play worse.

Nonetheless, I will be watching......

NAU--Win
Houston--Loss
UTEP --Win
Utah---Loss
Colorado--Loss
UCLA--Loss
Cal--Win
WSU--Loss
USC--Loss
OSU--Win
Oregon--Loss
ASU--Loss

I see the OSU, Cal, and ASU games as close to being tossups and we might surprise Houston.

4-8 but as good as 6-6. Shit. Just not going to be a good season with this ultra-young group of Linebackers. Pretty good chance RR is down the road partway into the season.
