Burrola is a 6-6, 295, Freshman offensive lineman from Desert Pines HS, Las Vegas, NV. He earned a scholarship last summer impressing the coaches at one of the camps, but then Burrola missed most of last year with a shoulder injury. He had surgery last fall and expects to already be recovered and ready to fully participate in camp. Burrola is already announced as a blue shirt. That means that he can't join the team until the 2nd day of fall camp, will be an automatic redshirt this year and counts as a 2018 scholarship.
What is the most interesting thing about Burrola? He is the only scholarship offensive lineman in this class and he has no chance of playing this year. We may have an experienced O-line, but we are not bringing in the big bodies to build for the future.
