73 Tyrell Aponte

Aponte is a 6-5, 265, preferred walk-on, Freshman offensive lineman from Peoria HS, Peoria, AZ. I don't usually cover the walk-ons on their own day (unless they just came over from the San Diego Padres), but Aponte just had a long article by Zona Zealots including a snapshot of his #73 locker.
Aponte is certainly a redshirt this year and will have a lot of work in front of him to see if he can crack the offensive line rotation. Also, he wants to major in Molecular and Cellular Biology and it is always a challenge for players with difficult majors to stay in the program.
