Merritt is a 6-0, 206, redshirt Freshman linebacker from Buchanan HS, Clovis, CA. He walked on to the team last summer. Here is his hudl video.
53.59 was Brandon Dawkins' completion % last year. For comparison, BJ Denker threw for 61.2% in 2013 and Anu Solomon's worst year was 2014 at 58%. Wash St led the PAC last year with 70.3%.
