Pittenger is a 5-8, 188, Freshman running back from Brophy College Prep, Scottsdale, AZ. A preferred walk-on, Pettinger rushed for 1550 yards last year with 19 TDs and also caught 12 passes for 99 yards and 1 more TD. He caught 42 and 22 passes in the previous 2 years when he was not the primary running back. Appears to have good speed, elusiveness, and is not afraid of contact.
