Ruiz is a 6-1, 215, Freshman linebacker from Franklin HS, El Paso, TX. Last year the walk-on had 100 tackles with 10 for a loss and 2 sacks and played varsity his Sophomore year, but has no stats for his Junior year. Linebacker is a wide open spot, so a great place to be a walk-on.
