47 Rourke Freeburg

Freeburg is a 6-2, 204, redshirt Freshman linebacker from Desert Mountain HS, Scottsdale, AZ. He only played in 3 games as a Senior due to injury. As a Junior Freeburg had 81 tackles (16 for a loss) and 3 sacks and was an All-State player. Freeburg was a 2 time team captain, member of the All-State academic team, and a versatile athlete who played QB, RB, as well as linebacker. His dad, Ryan Freeburg, played Major League Baseball. I'm curious to see how the new coaching staff treats walk-ons (like Freeburg) from the old era and if they will get the same equal opportunity to play.
