Young is a 5-11, 195, Sophomore safety. He started 9 games at free safety of 10 played in last year making 53 tackles (3.5 for loss) and 2 pass deflections. Normally, he would be an automatic pencil in to be a starter, but Young has been restricted from football events the entire off season due to domestic violence charges from last season. Young returned to practice this weekend, but will have to sit out the season opener against BYU. Expect Young to return to the starting free safety spot by PAC 12 play.

19 is Tedy Bruschi's Arizona sack record for a season set in 1993.
