9 Tony Ellison

Ellison is a 5-11, 189, redshirt Senior wide receiver. He doesn't get much attention, but Ellison led the team in receiving yards last year with 598. Also, his 16.2 yards per catch were better than all our receivers except Jamie Nunley and Ellison had 37 catches to Nunley's 6. He was also 2nd among the receivers for TDs with 5. Ellison is likely to start at one of the wide receiver slots, but may be pushed by one of the younger receivers. Don't be surprised if Ellison isn't quietly one of our top receivers again this year.
9.2 yards per carry by Khalil Tate last year led the team, the conference, and the country. He may be a player to watch this year.
