After playing in 10 games in 2017 primarily on special teams and with 13 carries for 121 yards and 2 TDs as a true Freshman, Tilford played in 1 game last year (qualifying for a red shirt) and had 1 carry. To see the field this year he will have to win the competition for the 3rd string back or return to being a primarily special teams player.
