23 Malik Hausman

Hausman is a 6-0, 175, redshirt Sophomore cornerback from Las Vegas, NV. First, stop and remember what this kid has been through. In 2016 Hausman visited Tucson on an unofficial visit and was hit by a drunk driver tearing both his ACL and LCL. The injuries caused him to miss his Senior season in high school and led to him blue-shirting and coming to the U of A a year after initially planned. Last year Hausman got to return to the field appearing in 5 games on special teams and as a reserve corner. I hope to see him earn even more playing time this year, but Hausman will have to battle returning starters and new talent.
23 is the number of sacks Arizona had last year which was 9th in the conference.
