Bear Down Wildcats

Wilborn is a 6-2, 242, Junior stud linebacker from Northridge, CA. After a Freshman All-American year, Wilborn struggled last year even losing his starting spot in the 2nd half of the year. Last year Wilborn had 14 tackles, 2 sacks, and 1 forced fumble all way down from his Freshman campaign.

Both spring and fall reports have Wilborn as one of the most improved players from last season. Coaches are looking for ways to get both Wilborn and Jalen Harris on the field at the same time to help improve our pressure on the QB. Here's what Coach Sumlin had to say about Wilborn after last Saturday's scrimmage:

“He was a little nicked up last year. He’s healthy now. He’s got what guys refer to as ‘twitch.’ He can get off the ball. He’s got great hands. He can rush the passer.”

Wilborn being an impact player may be the key for Arizona's defense this year.
