Fields is a 6-1, 220, Junior linebacker from Las Vegas, NV. He has started every game since arriving on campus and was a Freshman All-American in 2017. Fields has 193 (12 for loss) career tackles along with 7 sacks, 2 passes defended, and an interception. Reports have him in even better shape this year.
Fields will start at Will linebacker, but is listed on the depth chart as a co-starter with Anthony Pandy. That is more to do with Pandy's improvement who will likely be used to give both Fields and Colin Schooler more rest this year to try and not over use them.
