2 Lorenzo Burns

Burns is a 5-11, 175, redshirt Senior defensive back from CA. He has started every game he has played in as a Wildcat and only missed 2 games in his career. Last year he was an all-conference honorable mention and the team's defensive MVP. He has had 168 tackles in his career with 47 last year. It may look like his production dropped, but offensive coordinators stopped picking on him like they did when he was a Freshman. Burns has also had 9 interceptions on his career with 4 last year. He will be one of our defensive leaders this year, he was voted one of the team Captains, and his experience is a key component of a defense filled with newcomers.
