Berryhill is a 5-11, 190, redshirt Junior wide receiver from Tucson. He has played in every game since the past 3 years after redshirting in 2017 with 3 starts in 2019 and 2 starts last year. His productivity has improved every year and last year he was Arizona's top receiver with 23 catches for 227 yards and 3 TDs. Berryhill is a likely starter this year and may be both Arizona's best possession receiver as well as the most elusive.

Bump, because Berryhill has won the 1 jersey for the offense.

In this AZ Desert Swarm article Coach Fisch lays out how the players earned the 1 jersey.
“They had to do a lot of different things. They had to be every practice, had to participate, had to go hard every play every day, can’t be late to any meetings, can’t miss really anything. Have to do well academically. Both of them graduated, both of them still maintain their GPAs and did a nice job there. They had to lead the team when the team is tired. They were certainly two guys that made sure everybody worked extremely hard. They really are everything that a Wildcat should be. They’re people that give back to the community. They are people that love the Arizona Wildcats. Both are Arizona natives. They’re both people that dreamt of playing here, and they both are accomplishing it. They both start and I’m proud of both of those guys.”
Also, Berryhill has been named one of the team captains.

SB was on 1450 AM today: It was a cool interview. He talked about all the hoops he had to go through to get on a college team. He got labeled a 2 star and he felt that nobody looked at him after that. Had a verbal with ASU as a preferred walk-on until a family friend got RichRod to look at his recruiting video.
His parents said they would pay for his freshman year but he had to get a scholarship after that.
He said that the day to day practices under Fisch are are very similar to what he is doing with Falcons and he thinks that is helpful. He thinks Fisch has things going in the right direction.
He said playing in CA high school league was so different than AZ. Those schools run football and classes like a college program.

It was really interesting to hear is story. He was at ease during interview and came across as someone you’d want representing U of A.

Pretty much my favorite player of the last few years. Really glad he came here.
