Eckardt is a 6-6, 290, Freshman offensive lineman from Richmond Burton Community HS, Richmond, IL. Long, athletic and young - a likely redshirt (whatever that means anymore). Not much in Coach Carrol's evaluation below since Eckardt's school did not play their season before signing day.
