Reed is a 6-3, 221, Freshman linebacker from Wisconsin, Chandler, AZ. He only spent 1 year at Wisconsin and did not play, Reed is another Arizona native that Coach Fisch and his staff convinced to play in their home state. His Senior year Reed had 42 tackles (20.5 for a loss) and 247 evaluated him as:
a fiery defender who thrives in pass-rush situations, with a quick first step that causes problems for blockers. A sideline to sideline player with an impressive motor, Reed shows very good speed to chase down ball carriers and also does well to finish plays in the backfield.
