Roberts is a 6-2, 226, redshirt Junior linebacker from Bowling Green and Erie, PA. He started slow at Bowling Green playing in only 4 games in 2018 with just 1 tackle, but the past 2 years he was 3rd on the team in tackles both years. In 2019, he started 10 games played in 11 and had 60 tackles (6.5 for a loss) and 5.5 sacks. Last year, Roberts started all 5 games they played and had 32 tackles with 1 for a loss. Roberts will likely be 1 of our starting linebackers and he brings much needed size, production, and experience.
