John is a 5-11, 221, Freshman running back from Portland, OR. He appeared in 2 games last year with 4 carries for 30 yards and 3 catches for 24 yards. We have a deep, talented running back group so it will be interesting to see who earns playing time. John is the heaviest of the running backs and along with Clay Markoff, the true full back, could earn a roll as a short yardage specialist.
