Short is a 5-11 196, redshirt Junior safety from Pasadena, CA. He did not appear in a game in his first 3 years as a Wildcat and then started every game last year at safety. For the season (and his career) he has 30 tackles which tied Pandy for the team lead. Short is likely not a starter this year, but he should be part of the playing rotation at safety.
