Young is a 6-3, 217, Junior Viper from Houston, TX. During his Freshman year, 2018, he played both corner and safety, but has been primarily a safety for the last 2 years. Young started 8 games in the first 2 years, but played in only 1 game last year due to injury. For his career he has 39 tackles, 2 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries. This season Young is listed as a viper and is expected to start as the hybrid safety/linebacker in Don Brown's system.
