Coach Walker starts his 2nd year as Arizona's defensive backs coach. Last year we made a big jump in our passing defense ranking 2nd in the conference by holding opponents to just 190 yards a game thru the air. Walker has primary responsibility for corners while some game named Chuck works with the safeties.
Walker is also considered an outstanding recruiter and mentor for young coaches. He has almost 20 years as a college coach and another 14 in the NFL.

Opponents averaged 180 yards rushing against the Wildcats last year. That was 10th in the conference.
