Reed is a 6-1, 225, Sophomore linebacker from Chandler, AZ. He played in 9 games last year and made 1 start, against the scummies, with 8 tackles. He was primarily a special teams player last year, but earning a start in the final game and playing well puts him firmly in the linebacker mix this year.
It will be interesting with the new system (4-2-5) how some of these guys might be used. I like Reed and he was behind Anthony Pandy last year. Sure starter if we went with three backers but not sure how many snaps he will get with this system

I didn't realize we were going to a 4-2-5, interesting. I think our best option is going with a 4-5-4 though.
