Echols is a 6-5, 245, Senior defensive lineman from USC and LA, CA. He was at USC for 5 years and in 4 years he played in 37 games, making 50 tackles, 3.5 for loss, 1.5 sacks, and 3 pass break-ups. Last year he played outside linebacker for the Trojans, so he may be used on the line or as linebacker. He may very well be a starter and certainly supplies immediate quality, experienced depth.
We gave up 31.4 points per game last season. That was 10th in the league.
