Upshaw is a 6-5, 270, Grad transfer edge from Michigan and Bradenton, FL. In his 4 year career at Michigan, Upshaw played in 37 games with 2 starts. Last year he played in all 14 games with 12 tackles (4.5 for loss), 2 sacks, 1 interception and 1 the defensive player of the week after playing Illinois.

Upshaw brings a lot of experience to the line, but we are looking for him to have an impact getting to the QB. He is the projected starter at edge, but will have to have production to hold the job.

Sanders or Harbaugh?

I’m at Michigan now and the few folks I spoke to said it was just about playing time. Their DLine of course is loaded.

Said he was a good guy and he was instrumental in beating Illinois, a game they came close to losing.

He transferred from Michigan to play for Sanders at CU. He got there and abruptly left after the spring practices as a grad transfer exception. He obviously has to be Prime good playing as much as he did at Michigan so I wonder what turned him off
