I've recently been teaching my sister some things. We started out on her iPhone so she only needed to worry about composition and subject. Got me thinking it would be a great way to learn the visual artistry and nuance of photography without the science. With apps that make post-process a breeze, this thread can be used to showcase, but also discuss the dynamic world of cellular imagery.
Best Apps
Fotor
Enlight
KitKam
Almost all of my images are taken in HDR or via KitKam so I have some level of settings adjustment (even if more of a visual overlay of an actual settings adjustment), then processed through Fotor, then occasionally, processed through Enlight.
Here are two of my most recent.

Erlich Bachmann: Richard wrote the code, yes, but the inspiration was clear. Let me ask you something. How fast do you think you could jack off every guy in this room? Cause I know how long it would take me. And I could prove it.

JMJ, your deciduous tree in winter shadowing against the wall just amazes me. The shadow bisecting the curb, meeting the curb reaching up is not only wonderfully beautiful as an element of your composition----but a lesson in itself to tell an artist to look, look, look, look. Love this photo. Has it been juried a-la a competition?

Re: iPhoneography or other Smart Phone Photography
Most people don't get it. It's never been juried. But the ones who get it love it. Which I'm fine with. I almost find no joy in the mass-appreciated commercial shot. I want the moment. If the shot feels commercial, I'll try to highlight a detail that's unique to that shot at that time in that space.
I've tried to recreate the magic of Concrete Jungle with my DSLR. I've never recaptured the magic of that moment. I've literally waited for hours to find that right moment.
But I appreciate how much you appreciate it.
But to illustrate the extent people don't get it, I had made this my desktop screensaver at work and had a photo student think my screen cracked, then realized that wasn't it, only to ask "What am I looking at?"
This student passes by this same spot everyday to get to the building to get to my class and office.
