Coach Dick Tomey & Trung Canidate Lead List of U of A Sports Hall Of Fame Inductees

TUCSON, Ariz. -The University of Arizona Sports Hall of Fame Selection Committee has chosen six individuals and four NCAA Championship teams (listed below) for induction into the University of Arizona Sports Hall of Fame. Arizona Athletics will honor this induction class during Homecoming Weekend (Nov. 7-9).

Well deserved.

Not sure I understand the rules, why did Tomey have to wait so long and Rocky gets right in?

Up until last year the all time leading rusher and the all time wins leader as a football coach were not in the HOF? Not sure of the criteria but to me this should have been a no brainer.

Trung still ranks right at the top for me, for college players I've seen in person, whom best define the phrase "shot out of a cannon". Trung would go into the line, and then all of a sudden, bam, shot out of a cannon right behind the line and he was just.....gone.

I've seen a lot of fast players in person over the years, but Trung is at the top for that "holy shit that guys is fast" shocked/amazed/thrilled feeling one gets when one watches an athlete who is simply that-much-faster than everyone else on the field.
