10-0 Weber St in the first.
Re: 2018 Non-Arizona PAC-12 Game thread
PAC 12 needs to actually produce this year... Utah is supposed to challenge for the division and win like 8-9 games.
i was going to put the ua/asu records here...but i forgot what they were.
i'll just go with fuck asu.

Re: 2018 Non-Arizona PAC-12 Game thread
Really curious why the media has such high expectations for them. Weren't very good last year, overrated this year. If we can stay healthy we have a much better chance to challenge for south.ASUHATER! wrote:PAC 12 needs to actually produce this year... SDSU scores first on Furd.
Re: 2018 Non-Arizona PAC-12 Game thread
Not a good start for the Dawgs.
Re: 2018 PAC-12 Game thread
What a catch for the Huskies. Actually, a couple of great catches.
Re: 2018 PAC-12 Game thread
UW really ended that half well. P12 needs this one.

Re: 2018 PAC-12 Game thread
Absolutely blatant targeting/roughing the passer by Auburn on Browning goes unnoticed by on field officials AND replay booth. How can officiating be so awful?

He fucked up spectacularly. Going for it on 4th down on your own side of the field when you are only down by 2 with 6 minutes left and your defense has held the other team to 17 offensive points??prh wrote:Chip Kelly era getting off to a rough start
Re: 2018 PAC-12 Game thread
Washington loses, UCLA loses, Oregon State demolished, Utah and USC and WSU won but looked bad for a while against not good teams.

If Wilkens stays healthy, asu should do well. Their players were well prepared.

Don't look now but asu is actually a good team. And we suck.
Re: 2018 PAC-12 Game thread
Looks like we should've hired Herm

Re: 2018 PAC-12 Game thread
ASU has always had better players than us. Just look at the alumni rolls in the NFL. Herm would be 0-2 if we hired him. And he wouldn’t be able to recruit here either.
Re: 2018 PAC-12 Game thread
Way things are looking, it appears the south will be won by ASU, Colorado or Utah.

3 weeks into the season it appears that the winner of Stanford and Oregon is the only chance the PAC 12 has at the playoff

PAC 12 is totally garbage
Re: 2018 PAC-12 Game thread
And what I didn't realize is that the Stanford Oregon game is next weekend. Gameday in Eugene actually. So after next week the PAC 12 may have 1 legit playoff contender left.

Re: 2018 PAC-12 Game thread
I was telling a friend after they lost game 2 that we might see a Kelly blowup of some kind. He had easy success at Oregon, then experienced the big-time and cushy life of the NFL without having to deal with recruiting (or parents). How much losing will he be willing and able to endure? Speaking for myself here, but you reach a point in life when you just don’t have the fire and drive that you did when you were younger. You better have a machine in place to keep everything moving in the right direction at that point because it’s unlikely you will have the motivation to overcome all the friction on the path to success. Same thing for Herm up the road. It’ll be interesting to see how it all plays out.
Re: 2018 PAC-12 Game thread
Our season has been a huge success compared to the UCLA train wreck so far. Would have never thought this but they look to be in great confusion

Re: 2018 PAC-12 Game thread
What are we thinking on this USC/WSU game?
Re: 2018 PAC-12 Game thread
That looked easy.

Seriously haha. Remember when we were everyone thought we'd be 4-0 playing 4-0 USC in a top 20 matchup at home?

USC is gonna kill us...50+ to 13

Oh yea even though we'll probably have the same record USC should be favored by at least 5 tds.

Haha, then good thing we won’t be playing any good teams this year. Otherwise we’d lose by a thousand.UALoco wrote:USC is gonna kill us...50+ to 13

Re: 2018 PAC-12 Game thread
I was amused at the fact that the refs did not call targeting on the USC LB to get Wazzu further down the field.
It was an obvious call and it would have potentially put USC at 1-3 and 0-2 in the south. I do think the PAC should comment on this missed call because it us a point of safety and it also appears they passed on it because it was USC IMO

Oregon is fired up.
Re: 2018 PAC-12 Game thread
Anyone watching Oregon-Stanford? I wasn't until a minute ago, but from play-by-play, it looks like Oregon could have kneeled down and punted to Stanford, and either killed the clock or maybe given them 1 play from 70 yards away. Instead they fumble and Stanford sends it to overtime, like our Washington game in 2014.

Re: 2018 PAC-12 Game thread
So Oregon choked in the 4th quarter after being up 24-7 with 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter and lost in overtime at home. Sound familiar? At least their fans weren’t ready to storm the field.

ASU reminds me of a 7-5 Tomey squad that loses 10-3 in a Freedom Bowl. I say that with equal measures of respect and disgust.

Yeah. They aren't awful but they aren't good. Just look like a 6-6 team.ByJoveByJingle wrote:ASU reminds me of a 7-5 Tomey squad that loses 10-3 in a Freedom Bowl. I say that with equal measures of respect and disgust.
