Smith is the top defender.

He shouldn't be taking the most shots thoughPostmaster wrote:Smith is the top defender.

His shooting is horrendous though and he can't protect the ball. He could be a fine role player if he stopped shooting.Postmaster wrote:Smith is the top defender.

Worst AZ team since I've been a fan (started in late 90s).

I was being a bit facetious. But Miller goes with D before O.

At least for me, not the worst since I was at the UA when Ben Lindsey was coach.
Although that team would give this team a good game. They just quit on the coach.

You can't win if you can't shoot the damn ball. Are we really expecting Smith and Randolph to be back and play any part at all next year? Miller's loyalty to Smith worries me for next year.
Dylan Smith finished 3-12 (1-7 3 ptrs)
In Pac 12 play, Smith shot 36% from the floor.
Brandon Randolph shot 33% from the field in Pac 12 play.
No Arizona guard/wing shot better than 40% from the field this season. That is beyond atrocious.
We'll know real fast next season how good we'll be based on the "depth chart" of the returning players. If Randolph or Smith are in contention for starter minutes...then the new recruits aren't as good as advertised. I pray both players can't compete with the new guys next year.

Are you serious that Smith and Randolph will be back? I would rather pick ticks off my ball sack then watch those two for another season

I would take any current player over what we would probably get in the transfer market. Maybe I'm alone there, but when has a grad transfer paid off?

Is there a list of grad transfers we've had somewhere?

Tollefson..... That's all I've got. Ryan anderson was a trad. So was lyons.
Arizona State might have the most surprisingly anemic history in men's basketball of any program that you might think is better than it is.
