Atmosphere around the Football Program

Post by BetaCat »

A constant refrain from recruits is they like the energy the coaching staff has and the family environment is a positive. But more importantly, they express a belief that the coaches, from Fisch on down, believe they are building something special at Arizona. The recruits are feeling that, the current players are feeling the difference and the coaches are living it.

I like the direction Arizona Football is taking under Jedd Fisch.

I thought a huge compliment came from the tennis coach who said he has reinvigorated the whole athletic department. He said he is very present and always upbeat and approachable.

Of course he needs to win but if he can find some magic with this reclamation project, recruiting just might really take off. He sure seems confident

Fisch is saying and doing the right things, and bringing in legends has to help win the city. Players and recruits may not know who Cecil and Hunley are, but we do, and the players and recruits certainly know of Gronk.

Not really a fan of the Fisch hire, at least yet, but certainly glad we didn't get any more drunk, lazy retreads like RichRod and Sumlin.

So yes, the new direction is refreshing.

He's 15! Too bad he couldn't come to Tucson in December instead of June.

Offer list:

At 6-foot-7 and 315 pounds, Proctor is the next can’t-miss offensive line prospect from the state of Iowa. He’s rated as a five-star in the class of 2023 by 247Sports, and his offer list includes Alabama, Texas, LSU, Tennessee, Ohio State, Oklahoma and, of course, both Iowa and Iowa State.

along with all the other elite programs.

I think an unofficial visit he pays for himself so there had to be some interest on his part. It was more than getting a free trip.
