Lloyd has to make some serious adjustments at half time.

Pelle near the baseline doesn't rotate out on a hot shooting guard. SMDH

I’m interested to see how this team reacts as it’s really the first time we’ve faced any adversity. Bad 3-4 minute stretch.

Playing #3 is a trap game?

Still bad perimeter defense, and Ballo is clearly moving like a snail
Re: (M) Game #9 Arizona vs. Purdue (2023-2024)
We still have two more games before Christmas.
Also, it's the first half.

That makes our dumb TOs all the more dumb. That bounce pass to Ballo was down at his fucking socks.

Tommy will sort this out at half time.

Re: (M) Game #9 Arizona vs. Purdue (2023-2024)
This game calls for a Major Mid Course correction. I don't think we can leave Ballo sitting under the rim while Edey throws screens that allow for wide open 3's. We need to bring Ballo up to the top of the key and hedge the Purdue shooters hard.
On offense we need to pull our heads out of our asses and stop throwing the ball away.

Stop #2 and #3. They have 32 fucking points already. Let Edey make the tough 2’s.

It's crazy they keep trying to go under those screens from Edey, it's never gonna work out well for us
Re: (M) Game #9 Arizona vs. Purdue (2023-2024)
Yeah, I'm surprised this was our game plan. It hasn't worked to double Edey for anyone all yearEastCoastCat wrote: ↑Sat Dec 16, 2023 3:18 pm Stop #2 and #3. They have 32 fucking points already. Let Edey make the tough 2’s.
Re: (M) Game #9 Arizona vs. Purdue (2023-2024)
Wow, not sure we could give a poorer effort. Letting guys run free, looking confused on defense and got outworked in every aspect.
Larsson is obviously impacted by the injury to his hand but it shouldn’t impact his defensive effort. Pretty disappointed in our showing that half. Ballo looked gassed and worn out and Krivas was just a body out there.
Don't mind losing but hate it when we look like we don’t care and/or so timid. It’s like the scouting report is to hit us in the jaw and see if we have a plan. So far in the Lloyd era we have not

This is the best team we’ve played, and we’re on their court (effectively). We’ll see how our guys respond. I don’t expect a win, but I do expect them to claw back into this.
